As you are reading this, is your bra uncomfortable? Even though you are not alone in this, your bra should not be uncomfortable and if it is then you should definitely do something about it. Why suffer.
Are you experiencing any of the following:
- underwiring poking into my sides;
- underwiring poking into my chest;
- bra straps keep sliding off my shoulders;
- bra keeps riding up my front;
- gaping cups;
- spilling out of my cups.
If you are experiencing any of these, your bra doesn’t fit you correctly. Not all bra brands and styles will fit everyone, that’s why it’s important to get fitted and walk away with those that do. There is no reason why you should be uncomfortable for 15 hours a day.
Here are some tips:
- If the underwiring is poking into your sides, then the cup is most likely too small for you.
- If the underwiring is poking into your chest in the centre, the cup is also too small for you.
- If the straps are falling off and you already have them tightened, then the style of the bra may not be suitable for you. For some bra styles, the straps sit wider on the shoulder than others.
- If the bra is riding up over your breasts, then both the band size is too big and the cups are too small.
- If your cups are gaping, either your cups are too big but most likely your band size is too big. This means your band is riding up your back and loosening your straps, which then makes your cups gape in the front.
- If you have excessive skin spilling out from the cups near your arm pit, you should first try and scoop your breasts into the cup. If this doesn’t work then you need a bigger cup size, but do remember you will have some spillage as this is normal!
This may all seem complicated but it really isn’t. Head to your nearest lingerie shop for a fitting and have a professional help you.

妳的胸罩不合身?
事實上,很多女士都被不合身的內身所困擾。這是一個妳必須又可以解決的問題,身體決不需受苦。
以下是一些常見的內身不合身的情況:
- 胸罩底部(underwiring)戳到兩側
- 胸罩底部(underwiring)戳到胸部肌肉
- 胸罩肩帶不時在肩膀滑下
- 胸罩不時移上
- 胸罩不能覆蓋胸部肌肉
若妳有以上任何一項的情況,即表示妳的胸罩並不合身。市場上的胸罩品牌及款式並非人人合身。所以在選擇胸罩的時候,必須先試身才購買,決不應讓身體每天受罪15小時!
選擇胸罩的小貼士:
- 若胸罩底部(underwiring)戳到兩側,這大有可能是因為胸杯太小
- 若胸罩底部(underwiring)戳到胸部中央部份的肌肉,這顯示胸杯過小
- 若妳收緊胸罩肩帶後,它仍不時下滑,這可能是因為這類胸罩的款式並不適合妳。有些胸罩的肩帶距離會較其他的濶
- 若妳的胸罩不能緊貼胸部肌肉,這可能是因為胸杯過大,又或是因為胸罩帶號數太大。胸罩底部的背帶因過大而向上移,肩帶位置便會變鬆,令到胸杯移位。
- 若妳在配帶胸罩時,發現皮膚在胸杯兩旁近手臂位置擠出,妳可先嘗試將它舀入胸杯內。若這不湊效,妳可能需要更大的胸杯。但緊記,有少量皮膚擠出的情況是正常的。
